Block of the Month Class

Join Betty and LoriAnne as we embark in beginning our 2017 Block of the Month quilt! We will be using the Moda Modern Building Blocks Pattern, with some block changes. One section or “quilt block” will be completed each month for twelve months. Many foundational techniques, such as curved piecing, flying geese, HST, etc., will be taught. This is a very nice example of balancing color and pattern within an asymmetrical design. The quilt finishes at 84” x 96”. Materials required: About 15 yards total of 21 assorted fabrics are required to complete the quilt top. The complete requirements are included in the pattern. All materials are available at the shop for purchase.
Cost: $300 if paid in in two payments- $150 in January and $150 in June; $280 if paid in January. New participants may sign up through March, but are highly encouraged to begin in January.
This class will continue to meet the
FOURTH SATURDAY of each month, unless it conflicts with a holiday, in which case an alternate day will be scheduled.
Adults, Machine required after the first month, Beginner level.
