October 24 - Adult Beginning Sewing Class $60
This class is for a brand new sewer with no previous experience. A sewer needs to become familiar and comfortable with his/her own machine, so participants must bring a sewing machine to class, along with a few essential sewing tools (scissors, thread)
In this class, the student will
-Become familiar with the parts of a sewing machine & accessories
-Practice a variety of stitches
-Learn to thread the machine and wind a bobbin
-Gain confidence through practice
-Learn sewing safety
Students will be able to enroll in future beginner workshop sessions upon completion of this introductory class.
This class will be taught by Marlene Norman and Mary Green.
